This panel, hosted by Christine Harris- Van Keuren from Salt Analytics, features use cases of blockchain to house the necessary data for value for money assessments. The panel will provide evidence of blockchain use to store activity and outcomes data, and its overall use in tracking the flow of finances from the donor to the end recipient. Case studies from Disberse, Truepic, and the UNCDF will be presented. We will advance the discussion around how technology, with or without blockchain, could potentially provide an easier lift for collecting the evaluation and financial data needed to analyze the cost of a project. Valentine Gandhi from NIRAS and The Development Café will serve as the discussant.
